Vintage HERMÈS scarf “Paris London 1850” by Philippe Ledoux. 100% Silk, made in France. Design from 1966. Predominant colors; cream, brown and yellow. Attached copyright and without care label. Good condition, with ironed and unshaped hems, a small stain and a small pull, see images. Very rare collector, this scarf is the first version of this design. Delivered with original Hermès box.
Philippe Ledoux, an English painter, was enlisted by Robert Dumas in 1947 to design for the Maison Hermès. He has made almost a hundred designs of the famous "carrés" for the Hermès.
